Insight Venture Management, LLC (known as Insight Venture Partners or Insight Partners, insightpartners.com) is headquartered in New York and was founded in 1995 by Jeff Horing and Jerry Murdock (now retired; advises Insight as a Special Limited Partner).

Team Focus

Insight supports entrepreneurs with financial capital, hands-on growth expertise and our network of technology and industry resources. Our mission is to find, fund and work successfully with visionary executives driving change in their industries. We've set up two teams to support our goals:

  • Our Investment team meets with thousands of executives annually, selecting a handful of companies to invest in. The team has deep knowledge of target industries and their dynamics, and works with portfolio companies to identify acquisition targets, and structure effective financial transactions for them to conduct M&A.
  • Our Insight Onsite team provides hands-on operations and growth expertise. We founded Insight Onsite in 2000 to share expertise and approaches to building growth-stage companies. After a dozen years, we know how to deliver practical solutions, working alongside managers to help them scale their businesses.
